PPP Preferential Speed Benefit

1. What are the tangible benefits?

Please refer to the attached document for complete details regarding Preferential Speed.

2. How to become eligible for this benefit?

You will need to complete the program’s Platinum tier to become eligible. You can sign into the Preferred Provider Portal to view your current status. This is a new top tier benefit for Platinum tier providers.

3. Is this applicable to the entire catalog of content?

This is applicable to your catalog except for the content held for review or that fails ingestion etc.

4. Is this applicable to all action types?

Yes this is applicable to inserts, updates, and takedowns.

5. Who is our dedicated point of contact for program-related questions and support?

For questions unrelated to specific requirements, please email preferred-provider@spotify.com. If your query pertains to a particular requirement, kindly utilize the "Contact Us" feature located within each requirement section of your PPP portal. This ensures your message reaches the appropriate team responsible for that requirement.

6. Does this mean I can get this functionality when I finish the [XYZ] requirement?

You'll need to remain in the Platinum status within the program to continue to receive this.

7. The pdf says, "*Only content deliveries made via GCS are eligible for the Preferential Speed benefit.". How can we get started with Preferential Speed if we don’t GCS completed yet?

We are currently upgrading to DDEX ERN 4.3 and migrating to GCS?

Starting April 1st next year, we need providers to move to GCS for accessing the Speed Benefit as GCS will be required to qualify for the Gold tier. While you can still use SFTP until then, please note that we won't be able to guarantee the same SLA as GCS users.

8. I've checked the PPP portal and we've completed all tiers. Could you please help us get started with the Preferential Speed Benefit?

As a Platinum Preferred Provider, this benefit is automatically unlocked once you have completed all tiers.
