đź’ˇ Tips:

Track Level DisplayTitle, DisplayArtist, Contributor Information:

Spotify will not be using DisplayTitleText. Instead, we will be choosing the DisplayTitle for non classical releases. For classical releases, we will be choosing the “FormalTitle” and “GroupingTitles” for display.

đź’ˇ Tips:

ReleaseType & Release ID:

For compilations, Providers still must use the UserDefined field. Classical releases regardless of track counts must be sent with the ReleaseType “ClassicalAlbum”. This is the only way that the classical display will be triggered for ERN 4 releases. Provider may send IsMultiArtistCompilation or IsSingleArtistCompilation set to true to communicate if a release is a compilation.

đź’ˇ Tips:

Deals List:

ValidityPeriod must contain a StartDate. The CommercialModelType and UseType must be included. Spotify only accepts the following CommercialModelTypes and UseTypes listed in section 2.3 Deal Terms of our Onboarding Guidelines.
