How to fix Noise Content

To update your content and comply with our Noise Content Minimum Track Length Policy, please follow these steps: Ensure that any Noise Content, as defined in the General Content Guidelines, has a track length of more than 2 minutes. Then, send an Insert message with the new audio asset(s). The same ProprietaryID must be maintained. This will allow the track to have a duration longer than 2 minutes, while the album and track URIs will remain unchanged. ISRCs and UPCs may be updated as necessary and Spotify recommends content providers comply with all relevant industry best practices. If a content provider determines that in their particular case that no change to any identifiers is necessary, they may remain unchanged.

Importantly, your updated track will retain its own unique play count and saved playlist positions. However, please be aware that there might be disruptions if the updated track is linked to other tracks that have not been updated, such as tracks from another licensor or tracks that have been taken down.

Please note that this is an exception to the usual practice of updating audio assets and should not be considered a standard going forward.
